Ever since man became conscious of the fact that his hands or other body parts felt like worn pieces of leather, he has been looking for a solution. For many years adding lanolin to a cream or ointment was about as far as it went. But that was only a short term and superficial answer to dry skin care, as the cream, ointment or cosmetic wore or washed off. The dryness soon reappeared with all the other symptoms that went with it, like itching, flaky skin etc.
Skin moisturizers, ointments, creams, special soaps, and all the thousands of products that we have on supermarket shelves had not found the long term magic answer to this annoying and sometimes embarrassing problem. Huge companies with enormous advertising budgets spend billions of dollars a year promoting a wide variety of remedies that later appeared to be "short term solutions".
"It took years of research and experimentation in consultation with dermatologists and organic chemists for us to realize that the problem was that all the other remedies sat on the top of the skin and were therefore short term solutions." Said Dr.Wayne Weber, Board Member and Director of Research and Development for Gloves In A Bottle. "But eventually we created a product that surpassed even our most optimistic expectations. It bonded to the top layers of the skin to form a natural 'glove'which nourishes by keeping the good stuff in and the bad stuff out.
He added "The medical repercussions alone were very gratifying as gloves in a bottle had a relieving effect on things like dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and other skin problems. We had the real answer to dry skin care at last".
